Yeah. They are good.

Wii Sports will be great fun for a while. No More Heroes, Mario Galaxy are some good games. But I haven't played my Wii in a while as nothing as come out since Mario Kart. I'm not an Animal Crossing fan.

They seem okay in a party sense, wouldn't be the sort of console I would buy if the intent is to play single player stuff.

Definitely, if only for this next year

If it's got the games that you want to play then get one, use mine for stuff that i won't/cann't play on the PC like Mario Kart, De Blob and the such.

Good peice of kit, and a laff when you have people over.

got a wii in like april - gotta say the novelty's worn off, thinking of selling mine on ebay, they're amazing for a couple of months but just get a bit boring after a while - if I was you i'd get an xbox instead - last for longer without getting boring

I pre-ordered my wii & sold it 3-4 months after because i never used it.
Then my misses moved in & she bought a wii claiming she missed the 1 we sold but the new 1 just sits there not getting used too.
If you like £170 ornaments mate then buy a wii

Meh. I really was looking forward to that but it let me down. Really looking forward to MadWorld though. If you have no one else to play the Wii with then it's really kinda pointless to buy one as multiplayer/parties is what the Wii does

this year is supposedly the year that nintendo are gonna concentrate on the hardcore gamer, too much casual stuff came out last year, but you can't blame nintendo for wanting to build up their fan base after the flop that was the gamecube (best console of the last generation in my opinion though).

mario galaxy makes it worth it, incredible game.
wii sports is great for parties, i hadn't played games with my mum and dad since trying to beat eachothers scores on tetris 18 years ago, and then wii sports came along.
madworld, i hope all the hype is worth it. looks great at the moment

lots of other great looking games in the pipeline, and i'm sure that nintendo has a new zelda or mario game lurking around the corner seeing as the last ones were meant to be gamecube games.

I've had one since it came out, haven't touched it for almost a year.
Even with a modchip I can't find any decent games to play on it
