Animal Crossing ftw Sam

WTH is Animal Crossing about? I keep seeing the game on shelves but I've yet to look up a review out of 'the fear'... Can someone explain it in small easy to understand words?

(I got a Wii for xmas, and just got a WiiFit for the missus. well, mostly for her, I R a bit of a biffa, as Bedizen, Bo and Wisty will attest)

The DS animal crossing is better. It's a game meant to be played for a little while each day, so it suits the DS better. It's nice to play in bed before you go to sleep.

Also if you want to get a girl into games - get a ds lite and animal crossing. They love it.

Also, coming to Wii soon: Awesomeness.

I played Animal Crossing for a few weeks on DS and it was alright for a few weeks until all that was left to do was walk around tapping on trees to shake the fruit off and tapping on weeds to pull them up. The Wii version looks exactly the same.

Is it Harvest Moon without the harvesting?

I dont see much 2 player Wii action atm..... but you have classics like Zelda, Metroid, Resi evil 4, Mario Galaxy/Kart.

BUT if you are more graphics orientated and want more complex games the Tech specs of the Wii I think are like a 1.5ghz CPU... way below tht of the 360 or PS3.

Then again I own a Wii and neither a PS3 or 360!

Animal Crossing is not really a game. Your this kid who moves to a town full of animals. You have a house, which you pay off the mortgage to Tom Nook. You pretty much just make your town look nice. Collect fossils and fish. Earn money, trade and pay back your mortgage to Tom Nook. It is really just Harvest Moon - the farming. I never really go into the DS one. I just find it really boring.

Like I said, a little bit each day. You play it for hours at a time you are DOING IT WRONG.
