Animal Crossing is good for your kids! It teaches them that you will be in inescapable debt for the rest of your life if you want to have anything nice.

i enjoyed the wii when it came out. Wii sports was nice to play with me gf, warioware is a very funny although a bit short.

but after a while, i dont know, im starting to feel like an idiot when i have to wiggle the wiimote for the zillionth time. Zelda was ok, red steel was a crappy shooter but using the wiimote to aim made it less worse.
But the thing that is a real turnoff are the graphics. its 2009 now and when i plug in a console into my tv i really want a something hd to show up. Upgraded ps2 graphics, thats how it seems sometimes.
The nintendo titles look allright, but when you have textures that are just one colour (overreaction, i know) its hard to make them look blurry.

the wii is, imo, a console for a more cassual audience. And trying if nintendo or other developers are going to focus on the hardcore gamer now, it would be better to make a new console that focusses more on the hardcore gamer.

I love to see in Animal Crossing 4, Tom Nook with a bat saying, "bitch, where the money" and then goes and breaks your thumbs.

There is the odd nice looking Wii game. Super Mario Galaxy looks great even if its in 480p.
