Ahh, them were the days. I nearly still remember them. Some of the game loading music was the best, and also that Space Invaders game during loading. |

My bro recently introduced me to the sound track of World of Goo, and its pretty fantastic. Puts big budget soundtracks to shame. I'm becoming increasingly convinced the future is Indy Drums were apparently composed on Cardboard Boxes and Chairs... |

Your lack of Turrican is disturbing. Also have some more Turrican music in the rendition of some crazy guy that calls himself Duracell. The name is appropriate, as you'll see. |

There are way too many good ones to choose from so I'll try naming a few that I particularly remember from my childhood. One of the best co-op games on NES I must say. What was somewhat unique in this game was that whenever you left a screen, the song didn't start all over from the beginning or change (except for a few areas). The tune was also longer than most of the NES songs and maybe that's the reason you couldn't get bored listening it. The first level in Blaster Master. I miss games like these where the plot could be pretty much anything and players didn't care about whether it was realistic or any of that stuff. Plot summary from Wiki:
Jason with a pet frog.. From the newer stuff I really liked the theme song of Mirror's Edge: Proves that there still exists decent pop songs that haven't been affected by the r'n'b phenomenon. EDIT: Removed accidental hd-tags from blaster master video. |
