Post Mugen, Emulators and Joypads
Ok- i play alot of emulator games, some of you know that and some of you do too.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the 'Mugen' beat-em-up program?

Ive got a bunch of beat-em's on various emus but this was kinda cool as people have imported and created all kinds of characters so u can fight them against each other. Not to mention the ability to create, animate and program your own if you have oodles of time. Some people have done a really good job (others not)- but a fight between, say, Ryu and homer Simpson is well worth a giggle.

Safe to say its a free program and there are character packs all over the place...
Here's a really simple link on how to get it, just in case there's a tiny chance it interests anyone out there... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A82dK5zYrDY&feature=related

Characters are a bit harder to find but are all out there if u look- just needs a simple edit of one of the config files to write them in... here's another link that goes into it...

Also I got myself a pretty simple but effective pad from Game today that works great with both Mugen, PJ64 (just been ragging Smash bros), ZSnes, MAME32 and all that... its a cheap pad for dual analogues at £12 and the quality and weight is actually pretty nice...

Anyone who has an interest in mugen or emulator stuff but doesnt know where to start- please give us a shout or pm- im far from an expert but know enough to be able to play all my fav old games!

Now if you'll excuse me im off to try and complete Super Mario World!!! :geek:

I was just thinking about getting Mugen yesterday.
Get out of my brain Khola!

Character I saw that looked a laugh is Robocop. Think he got his shiny metal arse kicked though.

I just found Omega Tom Hanks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhjR_ZqayjI

No Spider! I like it in your head! Its all warm and fuzzy in here. yum...

oh... and in case u didnt want to watch the vid... here's the linkage...

http://www.unofficial-winmugen.jpn.org -MugenMugenMugen

take the top link... as for changin screen sizes i wouldnt worry too much, Alt-Enter as in most emu-style stuff gives ya fullscreen...

One thing you will need to do tho is add characters... I've found some good-uns so far but they've been scattered about and im looking for a good 'screen pack' with like 200 characters+ on it.
Youll also need to copy the character folder create one in the Chars folder and make the title the same name as the .def file in the folder (vid explains it better, easy tho- trust).. then add it on one of the config files... select config i think... and add it in... if u have any probs give me a shout... but i doubt ya will mate.

P.S. Predator Warrior Owns Robocop! heheh... someone should make some TF2 characters! now theres an idea...

EDIT--- how about this for a robocop match? Robocop V Osama Bin Laden! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmBdsesp9VY&feature=related lmao
