I thought Oblivion was great fun, but I couldn't stand the visuals at all, so this better not look the same.
knowing that fallout is made by almost the same team and after playing the new vegas game i'm starting to doubt if they are capable of making a game with different visual style without getting away from the gameplay

never played FO3 but from what i've seen in term of visuals it looks very similar to new vegas. I played new vegas and also in visual terms it's very similar to oblivion that i'd have also played. Therefore my awesome conclusion saying they can't make it look different.. even being made from different teams
Well, all three used the same engine. This one doesn't.

for me that's good news... but so far it looks almost the same
Am I a bad person for not being axited about it. It may be just me but thought gaaming has come long way for to stop jugling numbers all the time. So far Bethesda games are math tastic every thing havign a number to it.
I feel it gonna be the same rigmaroll as elder scrolls 3-4 albeit better gfx and duel wield .
