Thanks for posting Kifter. Tried to watch this on the Bethesda website but it didn't work for me. That looks stunningly beautiful! Loved every second of it. Only 9 more months... |

WOOOOOOO. I hope they really are doing Far Cry 2 stylee immersion with the arms and camera bob and everything, will feel proper meaty. Also looking way way way superior to Oblivion with the dynamic lighting and whatnot. Should be really nice on a good PC. Really does look likey've learned lessions. |

Saw The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® Game of the Year Edition Deluxe for €25, but was wondering if I should buy it? Do you recommend it? |

I think it is a bit overpriced if you compare it to the steam prices. It's occasionally on for about 5-10€ IIRC. But then again, heard modding ( which is quite a big deal with Oblivion ) isn't that easy on Steam, don't really know, best wait for Stinger or Bolt to say something to this |

Buy Morrowind instead. |

I think if you are going to play this game serious you would always get value out of it, pretty much whatever you pay for it because time wise it is up there with multi-player for game time. Not sure how the Steam prices compare in the conversion stakes so can't comment on that, and also as PGT mentions, Steam has regular sales which drop it a fair bit, but this ain't likely till Easter I suppose now. Although I haven't added many mods, Steam seems fine for that now as they fixed the Script Extender a long time back. Edit: Morrowind is great too, but Oblivion may be more accessible if you are a newcomer. |
