Shows you the locations of the cairns. Basically it's an exploration mechanic that rewards you with bags with good loot. Green, blue or purple. They are tied to the level of the zone and seem to be class specific.

Puzzles are also included. Short task and then a similar reward to the cairns.

Just got nearly a full set of blue lvl30 items at lvl29 from half the ones in Stonefield and the Solace lake ones. And a bitching lvl25 purple sword before that when Bo first showed me cairns.
