That trailer looks freaking amazing. Wonder how the game will play...

Enough with the stupid trailers. How about some actual game play for a change.

Looks boring. Too many weapons and utilities.

Of course its gonna look easy when the makers of the game play a late game character on an early level on easy mode, with the level probably changed around a bit for demo purposes.

I get the impression that this is the love child of Skyrim, Bioshock and Hitman.

Indeed- if you love your Bioshock, Theif and or Dark Messiah you can't go far wrong here; bit of an old-school feel with a twist. (if I hadn't know the Half-life 2 level designer of City 17 was involved I'd certainly have noticed the similarities... not a bad thing at all!)

Some may complain about the simplistic visuals, maybe, but i find them beautiful in their 'water-color esque' way... With the added bonus that, if you're able to run Bioshock ok, you'll be in for a very smooth game indeed (we have a few tweaks over the console version like FOV slider etc.. otherwise very simple... a nice change actually).
Just takes a little 'belief' to take it all in and the sheer amount of locations has a cumilative effect...
Good old UT3 engine eh? :D

So it's all down to the Gameplay and content to do it's work I guess... fairly early on and it's going well on that front (reccomend Hard)... will have to see if it justifies full price.

I know they wanted to keep the Story elements strong as well as leaving character interaction etc short and sweet (I think the quote was 'as short as a tweet' [mixed] )
It's delivering so far... familiar Bioshocky-Halflifey-Theif controls... minimal interaction ala Bioshock but with branches and choices a little on the watered-down side of Deus Ex (no surprise there as developers from all those games were involved)

Great for an antidote to some of the overcomplicated we're all playing so hard!
