Post Re: Valorous (and everday) tales of Dovahkiin

Well, dont know where to start. The Name is Selidon, Khajiit.

Master of the Thieves Guild, servant to Nocturnal, trained in archery, double-wielding daggers and pickpocketing.
After some major setbacks [which included pissing off giants too], I could finally make a stand in Skyrim.

Dragon killer, slayer of lich kings, master of stealth they call me now.

Today was a special day, I found a new bow, to be precise two new bows! First one made out of glass, and then one made out of ebony! Oh joy! Someone threw it in a crate, outside, poor thing! Why would someone do that to this precious piece of craftmansship?

What else happened .. ? Hmm..let me think..

I took care of an evil doer who was torturing the innocent ..

One clean cut is all it took to free Skyrim of this pest. [10 damage *30 sneak bonus]

While enjoying the night sky ..

I found myself drawn to a strange place, with a strange creature living in it. At first I thought it was a Vampire... a measy Vampire! But it was something different, but still I cant determine what it was, cause it attacked right away and I had to get rid of it!

Quests, quests, quests..that was all I was doing after that, trying to kill time, most likely. I had a pocket full of cat nip, erm I mean gold, and was on my way home until I saw a strange man waiting. He told me that he was waiting for me and he was happy that I finally arrived. I dont know what he was talking about, but eager to find out. I still pity that fool, he tried to bargain with a Dremora Lord, and paid with his live. No, I didnt kill him as the Lord commanded, but I guess his servants didnt think twice about it.

Ha, they even tried to kill me! Fools! I cut them both down, saved my servant, and took the key to the lair of their dead bodies. I entered the lair and took care of the rest of the Dremora Followers, for now Skyrim is save again. But we will see what the next hours bring about..

The mighty dragonslaying tales of Drak (Warning, spoilers for people who haven't done much quests with The Companions)

As my Orc Warrior Werewolf, Drak, traveled across the fields. Recently visiting the Greybeards for his first time and learned about the dragon language. As I decided to stop on the massive fields, I decided to fast travel to Whiterun.

But I could not, tho the greater commands deemed me to be in combat. Confused about this I looked around. There was nothing but rocks and grass as far as the eye could tell. I was unsure what had happen.

To my own surprise a stream of fire blazed right next to me and there he was! My first dragon encounter! What a sight to the eye. I licked my lips as I felt the berserker rage inside of me starting to boil. Grabbing my bow and waiting for him to land to let my axe do the talking.

As I avoided his burning gaze, he landed a bit away from me. I grabbed my shield and axe and ran as fast as I could as the dragon turned around and spew fire upon a traveling giant and his mammoth. Shortly there after the giant and the mammoth slayed the dragon with little effort. As I got halfway the distance there.

The two of them then kept on traveling their own way, as I drained the soul of my very first slain dragon. Where I did short to nothing.

Drak, master dragonslayer.

Tale 2

It was a eerie night, I had a bounty on a nearby bandit leader in his camp. By now in my full orchium armor, bandits pose no threats to me anymore. This was gonna be an easy coin for certain.
It was then I heard the growl from the sky, a dragon appeared! But wait, this one looked different. At first I thought I saw wrong. But this was no ordinary dragon!

This was a blood dragon! I felt both excited and frighten. Never before had I even heard about this specie. It's massive tail looked more like a club, it's size bigger and its skin darker.

At its first landing, it was no question about it. Blood Dragons were without doubt much stronger than normal dragons. Its firebreath almost killed me where a normal dragon would only take me down a notch. The local bandit camp quickly got slaughtered by its insatiable rage. However, my potions were many and my will to kill this worthy foe was strong as ever.

Upon it's 4th landing it lands a bit away. I ran as fast as I could to it, willingly to take its heat and let it char my flesh if it only ment I could get to it and let my berserking rage take care of the rest. It was still quite healthy as I've barely managed to wound it.

But it was here it decided to breath on two mammoths who passed by. The two mammoths shortly there after decided to maul the blood dragon to a red smear on the ground. And when I finally managed to reach it, I drained it's soul. As I, Drak, slayed my first Blood Dragon.

Drak, Dragonslayer extraordinaire.

It should be clever, witty, kind, with a sports car and a big cock.

By day he is a reluctant servant of Nocturnal & savior of the Companions. (And suspiciously similar to Fluffy's character)

By night he chomps on bandits & dragons alike.

And in the off-hours, a drinking partner with Sanguine the prince of Debauchery going around screwing up people's lives and completely forgetting about it, including the 10,000 gold owed to a poor Argonian after betting him he couldn't steal the hat from a chief bandit and he succeeded. :?

I dance about in a childish way outside Whiterun catching butterflies simply because I can.

I jump up and down hitting the Inn's signpost in Ivarstead making it swing, simply because I can and all of a sudden from behind me Arnie shouts "What are you doing that for?". I have no answer so I walk away...

*

I climb seemingly forever and ever to High Hrothgar and think more than once are we nearly there yet?

*

Avoiding the dreaded fast travel, I make my painfully long way down the mountain from High Hrothgar and to make better progress I sprint, but miss a vital sharp turn. Thank goodness for that save game. Oh damn, it was right at the top...

I was just in Mistwatch, looking to rid the world of a few bandits.
All was well, the bandits were dead when I walked outside.
Suddenly over my head were 2 dragons charging at me, I somehow managed to run away and hide under a bridge.
Then one of the dragons landed in front of me, as I was preparing to attack them, but he just died for no reason.
The other dragon was out of the reach of my bow, so I decided to climb that tower again, but when I was at the top of the tower, he was gone as well.

Not quite sure, what happened there.

Post Re: Valorous (and everday) tales of Dovahkiin

Fought off a Dragon near the Asura Shrine. My horse found a safe place to hide. Clever Girl.

I let this guy take Frost with the intention of finding him later and stealing the horse back. When I eventually spotted him again he was stuck in the ground up to his waist outside whiterun stables. I presume the horse is under there somewhere too. I spent a while trying to free him, I shouted and him and knocked him out of the ground, but it also got me 40 bounty so in the end I decided to leave him be and see if it fixed itself.

When I came back he seemed to have come up with a novel solution to his predicament. Unable to get free he instead cloned himself so at least somebody could get on with his life. Atm though the clone seems quite content to spend its life standing there. If next time I come back there is yet another copy I think I shall have to take some sort of action.

Oh, and also I jumped on a cauldron to pick up the various things inside it. The cauldron objected to being stoos on and shot upwards with quite some velocity and killed me.
