KSP- some info
Hi all
As some of you may (or may not) have noticed (or even cared), I've been playing something called "KSP.exe - shortcut" on steam
First the bad news, It does'nt involve flamethrowers... actually thats more like good news Next the good news, It does involve fire, smoke, vast explosions, and people dying.
Get to the point I here the pitchfork wielding mob start to mutter
To put it simply.... a build your own space craft game out of a collection of bits, then have the joys of launching the ship and crew into space(or more usually, the crew into an early grave)
it's sad to see that you ignore this brilliant masterpiece of a free space rocket station whatever sim(kinda) game.
It is fun. It is challenging. and sometimes things go BOOM.
Surely you can give it a try.
FREE FUN YAY.
=> their KSP forum provide you with additional addons (FOR FREE) YAY.
(dont forget no air = no parachute on moon durp)

Re: KSP- some info
Its just nice when you first start playing and you finally make it into orbit without crashing/burning/bits falling off, then realise you have to land and you have'nt got the fuel to change your orbit...... Then look at the moon and think... how the derp am I going to get there and land on it. and so you build a bigger better rocket that has a 50% bigger chance of crashing/burning/bits falling off before you even get it clear of the launch tower.
Boris
Ps having space cat land on the controls just has you are coming into land on the moon makes your crew have a really bad day..

Bought this yesterday because I wanted to see what a Boris-approved game looks like (apart from TF2). I have to say that so far I experienced a wide variety of very entertaining failures that all ended in extremely gratifying explosions. I really enjoy this game.
I missed the Mun the one time I got farther out and now poor Jebedyah (or however you spell that one) is doing a wide elliptical orbit around the sun. But I'm sure he's bound to hit something sooner or later.
Also I found out what the EVA button on the portrait does - the hard way.
Spoiler Alert:

I'm keen to see how this game will turn out.
