Its better than Skyrim.

In Skyrim exploration, questing etc become tiresome when combat begins to bore you, and for me that happened fairly quickly. The difficulty couldn't seem to find a spot between too easy and too tedious.

I was a big fan of the Witcher2 because despite all its flaws the combat, at least for the early portions of the game, actually felt fun and challenging. Amalur does it even better imo. Its not quite Devil May Cry, but its still better than any other RPG i've played. You can parry attacks if you time you blocks right, dodge around blows and string some interesting combos by switching between weapons and using your abilities. The game also throws some fairly challenging fights at you. I died a few times the other night on one of the harder bosses I'd faced.

So yeah, its good. If you don't have it I'd suggest you go play the demo. Its a decent length and gave me enough of an idea of the game to make me want to preorder it. If you have it what do you think of it?

Which u have apparently turned into unofficial ME3 thread and has nothing to do with Amalur except the armor for ME3...

As for the game its amazing. Combat mechanics are amazing and u actually have to pay attention what u do or u suddenly end up using potions all the time. Boss fights are actually challenging. Only bad thing i can say about the game is the camera which is kinda rubbish... But overall really good game so far.
