Darn it. All my 'buy games' funds are tied up in Steam Wallet.

yep, those little things can be really annoying. I had a great character with scoped hunting rifle and an ATV, seemed to be unstoppable, and I died as a result of a broken bone from a flight of stairs.
And the toilet doors, be thankfull the crashed helicopters dont kill now. Those things had such good loot on them but would kill you the second you went over to it.
Me, Fluffy, Sen and Ntrailz have been having so much fun with this mod the past few days (if you don't count the time trying to group back up after dying). It's just so much more fun in a group.
I do love night time, yesterday it was so dark and rained so heavily that, in 3rd person view, I sometimes lost track of my character because it looked like there was a curtain of rain between the camera and my char's back. Add the thrill of going into a major town at night to hear shots somewhere nearby, or see a flashlight outside the building you're in...it's like a co-op horror-movie at night. And that's before you count in crazy axe murderers...
However, I broke my leg climbing up a ladder this time. Still alive though, Agent and I are disproving the "least likely to survive"-award he earned in other games, lol.
P.S.: If anyone is just getting into this, do yourself a favour and try the Multiplay-servers. They seem kind of inconsistent, but overall much better than any others I have been on.

Well it appears i can wait to try it. Getting the 'stuck on loading screen' error. Have done everything as listed above and in that vid, and tried everything google could come up with. Not really sure what else to do atm.

Just played my first life and had a great deal of fun, you don't half get panicky sometimes
Managed to get myself a pistol and Winchester without too much trouble, and proceeded to a nearby airfield to try and find some items. While inside one of the hangers I hear gunshots outside. Instantly I go prone amongst some tarpaulin covered bodies (thankfully they didn't rise from the dead next to me ) to give cover and watch as someone sprints past the entrance to the hangar. I had remembered seeing a silenced MP5 on the floor before I hid so decided to grab it and pursue
Before I even managed to get round the first corner I hear some rustling, and lo and behold I see someone shimmying around while prone. Without a moments notice I decide to pop a few shots into his head, he didn't even know what hit him
I decided to push my luck and carried on looking around the area, I see a pile of dead bodies by a doorway and stupidly think I should check them for loot. Before I know it I'm being shot at by 2 bandits that were camping inside the building. I fall back slightly, heal my wounds and wait for a chance. Of course all this noise is luring in the nearby hordes so I stay out of sight, wait for a few zombies to overwhelm the bandits and jump in
