Post World of Trucks/Euro Truck Simulator 2
I thought I'd start a post where we could share our progress and screenshots of our vehicles :)

Haven't play ETS2 in ages, very fun game though! Don't have any rigs worth posting either, but please show us some goodies!

Post Re: World of Trucks/Euro Truck Simulator 2
Never thought I'd be the type to play a trucking sim, but there is something quite relaxing about delivering root vegetables to mainland Europe.

This is my current ride of choice. It's a bit wibbly wobbly at the limiter with heavier cargo, and late braking in the wet can be utterly terrifying but for most deliveries it's a solid purchase. The corporate colour of bright pink will be applied soon.

I currently own 5 garages in the UK and employ 19 drivers, including a mental driver named Boris. He will shortly be replaced. I've managed to pay off the various bank loans by taking quick jobs instead of freight market offers and am now in the black. Hopefully I'll soon be able to purchase new vehicles, buy garages and employ more drivers to expand my empire.

88 hours in and I've only explored 61% of the map (including the expansion) - it's a really big sandbox to mess around in.

^ This didn't end well...

Edit - I had to post this video again to show the potential of ETS2 with the oculus rift. That's not me presenting btw, although I do own those curtains.

Here is my Volvo! This is the first in many trucks to come.

I decided to trade in my orange Iveco for something with a little more oomph. Meet my 750 bhp Volvo FH16, which is currently breaking speed limits across northern Europe.

I tried ETS2 in big picture mode today and was surprised by how enjoyable it is with a joypad. I had to adjust the steering sensitivity and linearity so it didn't handle like an oil tanker but it was certainly playable.

I'm playing with an xbox controller and I have it set up quite nicely.

Only issue for me is that it runs quite slowly on my machine, I find it hard to get above 30fps.

Nice one iRPAx :), the only thing I wished it had was force feedback for rumble strips etc.

I had frame rate issues as well Sam, so I turned off HDR. It went from mid 20's to over 50 with details on high/ultra.

That video with the Occulus Rift is hilarious, definitely buying one when they reach production quality
