Hello!

I guess some of you might have seen me kicking around on one of the TF2 servers (and generally sucking) so I thought I'd register here and see what's what. I was mainly brought here by your advert on "training" so well done whoever came up with that :p2

Yeah I'm a "jumping on the F2P TF2" bandwagon type, we're not as nasty and smelly as some might think. This is the first time I've ever played a FPS really (unless you count Fallout 3) and I'm loving it. Thinking of getting the Valve pack so maybe I'll be seeing some of you on the L4D2 servers!

So um. Yeah. I like video games (yuh think) and I like talking about them almost as much as I like playing them, so forums around videogames are pretty good deals!

Hello there and welcome to the forums! :)

Everyone was new to the game at some point so don't worry about it. They say our servers have a higher than average skill level so you should be learning faster than on those pesky 2Fort 24/7 instaspawn servers that will just numb your mind. :P

Oh man yeah, it's hard work, I've not managed to get over like 5 points yet!!

Much more fun though. I was on some server earlier where the map was just a room, with no time limit and no goals, and a free for all. Sure, spawnkilling the line of bots with a Pyro was fun for a while but soon got boring!

Hey Fatalism. Welcome to the forums [beer]

I wouldn't worry too much about sucking at tf2. We've all been there, done that and got the battle scars to prove it. We have a multitude of talented TF2 coaches eagerly awaiting a dedicated student such as yourself. Is there any particular class you would like to improve with? Or is it just a general feel for the game you're after? Add me on steam and we'll sort out a coach for you. Just add Telgor.

Also, why not sign up to be a reg? You get greater access to our forums, access to community events, admin on our regs server (server 5) and the optional right to wear the super sexy @H|H tags.

Welcome aboard dude I am sure you will learn to love it here. I would also suggest if you can get a mic and get hooked up to mumble. Its where all the madness takes place.

Hi Telgor :) Thanks, and I know everyone starts out sucking. In fact most people I come across have been pretty cool about having "newb teams", people giving advice to their opponents when they're obviously new etc.

I'd love to join as a reg and get some coaching and whatnot :D I'm still playing with the classes at the moment but my favs by far are sniper and pyro. And spy but I'm *really* bad with it, even with the cloak and dagger haha.

Always willing to help out a good community like this one seems to be :) I'll give you an add now.

EDIT - I like this "new post has been made, take a look before you post" feature, very nice. Hi Snatchers! I'm waiting on delivery of a USB hub (my laptop's a bit beaten up and only has one port, and the mic/headphone sockets/built in speakers are busted, hence need of external hub). Once I do I'll certainly check it out :)


....I would add you Telgor but as I haven't got round to buying anything through Steam yet, and I cba to get my purse from downstairs, I can't just now. I will do in the next couple of days though, got my eye on the Valve pack!
