The mouse has a 'breathe' button that gives lower DPI while I hold it - is this actually useful for sniping?
I'm using a 1080p screen, Windows sens is on 6, DPI is 1200, TF2 sens I'm still figuring out

Re: Gaming mouse
No you shouldn't need those fixes unless playing the old games mentioned.
Adjustable DPI for sniping is a load of marketing shit. To get good you need to build up a muscle memory of how much movement is required to get to a certain point on screen. Wildly changing the DPI constantly means you will never get used to any one setting.
TF2 already has a console command for changing the mouse speed for zoom ratio, cannot remember the console command but that is what I would use for "sniping".
I currently use a 1680x1050 monitor. 1600dpi on the mouse and 1.8 sens in game I think.

Thanks ked. I think I've got my sens where I want it now, just need to write a bunch of class scripts.
