Ok, so I finished the single player and quite enjoyed it. But now I want to try the multiplayer out. Trouble is, I cant log on. I have 3 Gamespy ID's already but none seem to work. Should I just make yet another or is anyone else having the same problem?

Re: Getting online in Crysis
Same for me im havin murder gettin online with Crysis, can get it workin without punkbuster but thats not good as you know.
Well, basically, I got it working, and I've not a dx10 card or vista, and the machine barely scrapes in for minimum requirements. To get it running smoothly everything except the physics was set on low.
But anyways, as I said in a previous thread, multiplayer seems dire. Power Struggle is good concept, but the way it has been implemented is crap. Needs some major changes, especially to the balancing. I was actually having more fun in the chat area talking to other people who weren't impressed, which was most of them... And after that dissapointing experience, I didnt even bother trying what few Instant Action servers there were.
Well, I tried instant action today and boring boring boring boring boring. But then that's what most reviews say about it. There's just nothing that seems all that good about it. Killing people was slightly easier, but tbh, its just not exciting or interesting.

Re: Getting online in Crysis
*EDIT* (i just read ur post but will leave mine up to rekindle thread in case anyone can help) Dude can I ask your spec, what u were running it in (res and settings, aa etc) and roughly how fast it was running? Imo opinion ive got a fairly decent new system and it might be Vista64 and the 64bit version is losing me a bunch of frames.
My system again: Q6600 2.4hgz x 4 4GB DDR2 667 -(the possible bottleneck?) 500GB SATA2 Twin BFG 8800GTX oc 768mb x2 Asus P5N32-E SLI+ mobo
Ive heard that until the patch Crysis doesnt support SLI, but SLI seems to affect stuff to a certain extent anyway. The performance in the game is pretty poor considering. Fps doesnt seem that affected by res- which is why i think something's up- its as playable in 1280x1024 as in 1024x768 with 2xAA... problem is its not that playable. I've had locks with certain 64bit gfx drivers and I've heard switching to vista32 could get my fps up around 40fps for my machine. I just dont wanna fork out another 80quid unless i have to! Would be helpful to know what ur running
"Something controversial about Crysis is that by default you can't enable the 'Very High' level for any of the in-game Advanced settings under Windows XP, nor in Vista DX9 mode, yet you can under Vista DX10 mode. Initially it was thought that this was due to Very High being DX10-exclusive. However this is not correct, it's an artificial limitation imposed by Crytek, and in fact it was during the Crysis Multiplayer Beta that it was discovered that you can indeed force Very High mode in DX9. Before we go any further however, it's important to understand that this is not a "DX10 hack", as under DX10 Crysis does indeed have some additional subtle effects which are exclusive and can't be reproduced in DX9 - see the DX9 vs. DX10 topic under the In-Game Settings section. For most intents and purposes though, Very High in XP (or Vista DX9 mode) will look almost identical to Very High in Vista DX10, and also performs better to boot."
