You lucky mofo

I'm hoping to get a new comp together over the summer, until then I'll have to continue pwning on my "little rig that can"

sounds like a nice machine, very similar to mine, i can run the game all max at 1024*768 (simply i play fps at that), i can get near 200FPS in spots, but at others when there is a big game on like 40 players my FPS will drop to about 40 in places but i usually get a steady 80 to 140 variable

i got a

AMD athlon 64x2 6000 (dual 3ghz)
MSI K9N SLI mobo (Nforce 570 chipset), not the best mobo tbh
4 GB OCZ DDR2 800 SLI certified RAM (SLI certified supposed to run faster on SLI mobo)
640 MB Geforce 8800GTS Extreme (overclocked to faster than GTX stock) (big dif between this and a GTX is that the GTX has about 128 integrated shader units and mine only has about 96,)

never been able to max the machine out, never used 100% processing power even when converting DVD's to MPG and vice versa,
still running XP though, i am a tad causios about going to vista 64 although i do imagine the performance increase would be shocking (if it would boot and load in 6 seconds, doubt it though)

thing generates so much heat though! im summer its like having a boiler in the room, honestly
