They keep ending it and then bringing it back, to many people still using it and buying it.
Me, i'm skipping Vista, just waiting to see what Windows 7 is like, XP suits me down to the ground and does everything i need, apart from making a cup of tea .
I think they stopped selling it at the start of June, or is it the start of July, when ever, but support will carry on for years.
Vista sucks, imho as it seems to have been designed to fit no purpose other then to release a new version of windows, rather then to improve on areas or to work better

Re: Microsoft to end support for Windows XP...
Honestly, it depends with regards to Vista... I use it and its not all that bad. At least it recognises all 4 Gig of RAM and actually has driver support for all my hardware. I've had no problems with it.
Weird. I'll post again then: Am I right in thinking that that page says that Windows will stop sending XP to all the shops etc at the end of the month, but will continue to offer support (updates etc) for people who have XP until 2014? Another question: Is it worth me getting Vista for my new computer?
Dont get vista, it slows down you pc loads, is only a new look which you can dl without the performance drop, and you can crack your registery to play dx10 games So its nothing but a new look.
Also they need to redo something with Vista as it cant support something new so they are trying to get windows 7 out so it can support it Ask Pilsy he tried to tell my about it
