Thanks for the help guys. I think it was just the new Pyro update that was effecting my TF2. I think one of the files must of got corrupted or something.
Anyway, I just completely deleted all my Steam files and reinstalled them all.

hmm seems odd, crashin on the valve screen before then menu ya say, try putting the -novid command in the launch see if skipping the video bit might help.

Try running in windowed mode to see how far you get.

You got a launch command for that?

right click run in 640x whatever it is should make it window in theroy.

Tried that, it just runs it in normal mode and still crashes.


Found a launch command "-window" but still doesn't work. In fact, it doesn't even get past the video bit now.

tryed the verify cache thing, normaly fixs alot of things

under games right click, properties, verifu cache - checks the files maybe something got put out of place when updating.

Also is it just tf2 crashing? are other games ok?

I've tried Verifying the files in TF2. No luck again, seems everything is alright.
And every other game with steam works (I've tried Garry's Mod, HL2, CS:S and even Peggle) yet TF2 continues not to work.
