Like the title says, the new Nvidia PhysX drivers for the GeForce 8x and later series with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory are out, you can download them here if you wish.

Just a little heads up in case you didn't see.

You may have to allow nvidia.com if you use the FF-plugin NoScript and only see a blank page.

From what I read quite a few people here play Mass Effect so...good news for you too =P Not like a free performance upgrade wouldn't be good news on it's own...

Pwns in UT3 with the PhysX mod, almost everything is destroyable, you got a gravity gun that works almost like a shock-combo, pretty darn cool.

Just recorded a quick vid (had to use Fraps so the gfx settings are on medium, didnt wanna get horrible FPS) of the gravity gun on a PhysX-enabled map cuz I really find it fun to toy around with it, you can watch it here if you'd like.

The map per se is kinda unspectecular, if you want to see what else PhysX can do, check out this vid (not by me obviously), the tornado is sick, reflects projectiles, hurts you when it hits you, can be used to tornado-jump, automatically "grabs" objects and bodies from the ground/air, etc. Can't wait til I can upgrade my PC so I can enjoy stuff like that on max settings

Personally I didnt notice anything negative yet but yeah, you could just re-install the old drivers any time.

I mean, the drivers just came out, there are gonna be incompatibilities, gotta expect that.

The drivers don't recognise my 8600GT as being Physx-compatible =/
