I thought I'd download the new ATI catalyst drivers today to see if it would help my already slow system out.
After 5 minutes in game, I get a BSOD. Fair enough, must be a new driver thing I'll go back to my previous drivers I think.
But now I'm getting the same BSOD even back on my old drivers! My old drivers were the bloody 8.4 ones so I don't know what's going on!
I've tried older drivers, hotfix drivers, custom drivers - Nothing works. I even formatted c: and reinstalled windows, missing out on Minty's party. It's still happening. HELP!
For the record my card is an AGP x1650. I've tried the AGP hotfix drivers to no avail. Everything is fine till I run a 3d game then 5 minutes in - BSOD! It was fine earlier today...

Re: Random BSODs
Seeing as you've formatted and done a clean reinstsall, that rules out any OS or other software issues.
That leaves 2 possibilities; hardware failiure or a problem with your bios.
I'd suggest clearing the cmos and going back to your last working driver.
What message do you get with your bsod?
