Agree with Ares - remove the 2 x 256mb sticks. For different reasons though...

Your 256mb sticks have only 4 banks of memory, the 1 gb sticks have 8 banks of memory. This means you are running mixed mode dual channel which for several rather technical reasons is not a good idea. You are risking hard disk corruption and various other unwanted effects if you carry on using it as is.

EDIT: I'm surprised you dont get a warning message and an F1 to continue prompt when you turn your pc on actually?
