Hey,

Anyone else having problems with the latest NVIDIA drivers for Vista (178.24)?
I frequently have texture problems in TF2 (white lines where there should be glass) and in other games the images just begin to stutter and eventually I get a tray icon saying "the video driver had stopped responding"...

Don't own a Vista.

I didn't use the 178 drivers for long (about half hour ) so cannot comment on any problems with these.

But I have been using the beta one (180.43) for a couple of weeks with no problems when running Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3. I cannot comment about TF2, as I haven't played it in that time , but it might be worth giving them a try if no one else has any better suggestions.

Latest 180 forceware drivers are ok - avoid 180.47 though, gave me horrible bsod's in source games. May just be me tho... What card ya got?


It sounds to me though like youre gfx card may be overheating or failing.

latest 180. Vista64 drivers are also A-ok atm (though not checked them in Source yet)
