I used a 518 before this, yeah good mouse. Didn't suit my style of play that well though as I use a claw-type style whilst playing so the G9's shape is perfect for me. Always hated that big hump in the middle of the 518 :f And the G5 is in the same style as the 518.

Khola, it's just a small processor overhead. But the difference of twice the overhead for what a couple of milliseconds, for most ppl without high end mice or top end cpu's I think 500 should be the goal to aim for sort of thing. Good mouse and balls-out-fast cpu you will hardly notice the difference between them imo. Below 500 and you are adding a massive amount to your total latency (ping+mouse polling+monitor lag for tft's+gfx driver overheads=total latency etc) If you pay for a good connection why put 3 or 4 times the latency of it into your total with a 125 polling rate.
