Annoying Bioshock phyics glitch on fast machines
Something I thought was my new pc playing up turns out to be a really widespread problem, with a humongous thread on the official forums.
Basically the game runs great for me at max res for my monitor (1280x1024) and in DX10 mode with everything cranked. Problem is they capped some of the games physics at around 30fps due to the Xbox360 port and stupidly didnt remember or bother to change it for the PC version. So if u are running it at a high framerate like over 70fps then when something dies or if u beat a barrel around with a wrench there is a noticable difference and it appears a little jerky. It is by no means unplayable but it snaps you out of the wonderful world of Rapture a little every time. There is currently no know fix or .ini tweak that has worked for sure yet and ALOT of people are pissed of with 2K on the forums as they dont seem to be addressing it yet. Just another example of companies using their customers as unsuspecting beta testers!

I didn't even notice it
Played it at 60FPS though at 1600x1200 (My monitor only have 60hz on 1600x1200, but i prefer this resolution as its the native one - LCD screen so...)
I can imagine it being annoying - but you have to notice it first. Btw, now i WILL notice it, as i WILL be looking for it Good I'm not about to play it hehe.

Wouldn't bother the makers. Only in it for the money tbh. And not like its that long of a game from what ive heard...But I want it on 360 so I can rent it >.>

lol sorry for pointing it out.. some people aren't troubled by it but as I can only run a max res of 1280x1024 on both ym monitors its kind of a crazy framerate so very noticeable even with AA from the control panel, its always there. Heres hoping for a fix and I'll play it through again for the other ending. Its not that long no, but has quite a bit of replay value as I for one left a load of little sections and side rooms unexplored. Plus theres quite a few different ways you can play it, my personal fav example is to pump a load of Proximity bombs on a chair or box then pick it up with telekenisis and hurl it at a bad-guy Not sure about the 95% mark especially with the constraints put upon it from the console realease too.. it loses a couple of % fro that from me, it's still a great game.
