I was lucky enough to get one of the Digimate 24" AU panels for £165 last year. Again 0 input lag so I dont see any ghosting whatsoever. Stuck at 60hz though (59 in win7...) so with vsync off (mandatory for good aim in fps games) I get horrific tearing (200fps+...grrrr). I've kinda got used to it now though and I only notice it if people point it out.
Im gutted that a couple of years ago I got rid of a 3 Iiyama Visionmaster pro 452 CRTs. Didnt have the deskspace or forsee the need for them anymore. I'd kill for them now though.
Best screen with no doubts, Sony FW900 24". Shipping weight 122kgs though so have a few big mates on hand to carry it in and make sure your floor is reinforced . Still go for big money on ebay even 12 years after they were new.
The best advice I can give with a tft is to get one with no dynamic contrast or any of the extra filtering etc. You dont want it cos doing image processing on the fly causes input lag. You just want a panel on a cable connected to your pc. The simpler the better. Other than that listen to the guys here - Ntrailz and k3d really know their stuff with these screens.
Any difference between the LG L227WT and the L227WTP-PF? I can't really seem to get hold of the former easily, it being discontinued and all, heck, even the latter seems a bit rare.
