If you want TRIM enabled on your G.Skill Falcon drive then you can flash it to become an OCZ Vertex.
Flash to OCZ Vertex FW1.1 in jumper mode using the OCZ firmware flash stuff.
Power down, remove ssd jumper and power up again.
Flash to version 1.40 if on win 7 and using a single ssd. enables TRIM Flash to version 1.41 if on any other OS or using RAID. enables GC
If you want to go back to G.Skill firmware then just flash back to whichever G.Skill firmware you want to use (1571 is the best imo) using the jumper method and G.Skill's flash programs.
If you're not fussed about TRIM/GC then stick to G.Skill 1571 as its a little quicker than the OCZ firmware. You can always use wiper.exe to get performance back which works just as well as TRIM.
Obviously you can go from OCZ to G.Skill too if you want a little more speed and arent fussed about TRIM, but more relevant the other way really.
