I want to install Zbrush and when the installer runs I get this error message:
Code:
Error 1926. Could not set file security for file C:\Windows\system32\. Error:0. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to modify the security permissions for this file.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and I'M THE ONLY FREAKING USER!!!
Please help

Right-click system32, select Properties -> Security -> Advanced -> Owner -> Edit -> Change owner to Administrators Right-click system32 again, Properties -> Security -> Edit -> Select Administrators and Allow Full Control
after it is installed, right-click system32 once again, Properties -> Security -> Edit -> Select Administrators and uncheck every single permission you gave to Administrator account

man i get this admin crap as well, yes i am the admin with full privalidges, only user yadda yadda and i often cant change files that are on my external drive, i have to move them to C: change it then move it back suck when all your trying to do is update a game.
only thing i dislike about windows 7 is this over paranoid admin rights thing.

I suggest doing the same I told Eraser to do, but with a difference, don't revert you permission back to none. And edit the privileges of a normal user (you), not an Administrator (you)
edit: of course do it with the external disk, not the system32 folder just to clarify
