Steelseries is the awesome dude. Got Steelseries Siberia and you dont even want to know what they have gone trough and still working (apart from the god damn microphone).

Glad I came back to check before buying the fatal1ty set. Read that review of the SteelSeries 5H v2, and I have to say that with a couple of recommendations here, I'm liking the look of it. In particular having the cord extension and the braided cord sheath are selling points - I hate grippy plastic cords (hence why I have a braided cord on my mouse too).

Bit more expensive (£60 off Play) but fuck it, I seem to have plenty of cash in the bank right now. That's the benefit of moving from London to Devon - no friends, fewer places to go out and eat/drink, and living costs dropped by loads

SteelSeries headset arrived. Sound quality excellent, mic (from a test via Skype) seems very clear. And holy shit they're comfortable. Far FAR better than the old Plantronics!
