has anyone here got any experience with new nokia's?

i recently got a brand new X6 and cant for the love of god;

1) log in to the forum

2) get the satnav to work

these are the only 2 reasons i got this phone over the other ones offered and i cant get it to work. and before you say it, yes i gave fecking googled it to no avail

was just hoping that someone else had this phone and could give me a hint as to what to do

Yeah I used to use mobile Opera on my BB and it's really the best choice.

im also having alot of problems with installing apps. found some good rep'd flv and flac players but all have problems with certificates and licenses. on my n95 it was just a case of viewing the certificate and changing the date to suit but i cant view it on this phone and the forums and download sites are of no use either... sigh. i heat getting a new phone but once its all working it'll be awesome

cool i just typed up a reply but it lost connection for some reason while posting dont know why but meh, at least i can view the forum. its also twice as fast as the normal one and way easyer to use. cheers frog

Only just came to mind, but check what version of firmware your X6 is running.

Get the dial pad up and type '*#0000#'

The latest version is v20.0.005, and was released less than 2 weeks ago.

If you connect your phone wireless to the internet then use the Update or Check for updates option that appears after typing '*#0000#'.

I've done this loads of time with my Nokias, never an issue.

Alternatively use http://www.nokia.co.uk/support/download ... are-update and update from your PC.
