Wont any winforms etc etc. pick up the initial key stroke as is if he uses that.
That being said useful for creating a script for spamming input. AutoIt is also another similar tool that can be used.

all im trying to do is swap certain keys, like Q,E for A,D etc nothing too complicated.

cheers for the links tho i already had tried autohotkey i believe it needs a reboot to activate. gonna give the other a try now.

edit: oh i had tried that one also, all require changing registry so reboot only :(

i'm starting to think is not possible because for something that appears to be a simple task (how hard can it be to swap keys?) not 1 program can do it on the fly, out of about 10 i've tried all need reboot to activate the changes :/

http://glovepie.org/

allows you to script keybinds.
I use it as my bc2 won't pick up my mouse buttons 4&5 properly, so I remapped them to keys that bc2 does pick up.

Try this http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

I've just tested it out and created key layouts that I could switch between without rebooting.

awesome thanks guys.

i tried them both and with microsoft one i am having problems swapping letter keys for number keys, comes up with an error something about caps lock idk. also no F keys?

with the other one it is almost perfect except 1 thing! it doesnt wipe the original function of the key so say if i swap Q with A they type QA and AQ :?

bah i'll figure it out later
