This is a technical issues thread..

Try these things

1. go to Documents
BFBC2 Folder
find settings,click it
find “dxversion=”
change it to dxversion=9 (or 10)

2.Uninstall the BC2 BETA
Look in MY Documents for BC2 BETA directory. If it exists delete it.
Look where BC2 BETA was installed, if the BC2 BETA directory remains, delete it.
Try running the game again.

And you have an ATI card I presume?

Also try: Roll back your drivers to 9.11.
