Silly question Wisty, but where are you based right now? Just to save saying certain shops if you'll then get hit with massive import duty...

Either you replace pretty much the whole thing (ie MB, CPU, RAM, GFX) or spend all the money on a portable gaming grade laptop.

Personally I think Laptop gaming sucks but if you need something portable over it being good then its an option.

My choice would be something like this:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... =BU-023-OB
and spend the rest on a gfx card.

Pilsy will no doubt be along shortly with a far better value deal. Probably an i3 or something like that. But this would only work if you are willing to overclock the CPU....which you really should be to be honest.

Are you after a laptop (would not recommend for gaming with the money you have available), pre-assembled desktop or components to assemble.

If it is a desktop you would probably be best going for an i5 with appropriate mobo and ram. You would need new ram (DDR3).

Are you are planning on reusing any bits (hard drive, tower case, PSU, DVD writer, monitor) or do you want a completely new system.

A quick price check on an i5 system for CPU, RAM, GPU and Mobo at £460. But what components you can get depends upon if you want a completely new system or willing to recycle some bits from your old pc within that £568 target.
