Attempted to turn on my pc today, pushed the power button and was greeted with less than a fraction of a second of power which is usually followed by the PC posting and booting up.
However, im getting a fraction of a seconds power and then the a light on my gigabyte motherboard (ga-ep45-ds3p) is switching on (phase LED apparently, goes green when it seems to be powering up then goes amber when it refuses to go any further) and the pc is refusing to boot any further.
All of the components are less than 2 years old (save for the case), and most are less than a year old, I have disconnected and reconnected everything trying to turn it on after each connection and nothing, this is ticking me off no end. Fortunately this is all in warranty so not a problem if something has gone defective on me, but I'd obviously rather not deal with that if its something else.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Edit: From what i can gather from the LEDs heres the order its lighting up Red ACPI (before powering up but PSU is on/plugged in)
Green ACPI + Level 1 PHASE light + PCI LED (gfx card isnt problem tried booting with and without)
Orange/Amber ACPI
