I'm thinking that if I cant see the server in my faves then maybe I could see it in the public listing and connect that way.
tried connecting through the console ? the server ip's are listed on the Home page.

Are you using the simplified list? Because that thing is a major asshole most of the time. Once showed me a server that i didn't even add, actually REMOVES servers sometimes and doesn't display 'em other times.
