Post Re: FPS gaming mouse
I have a Logitech G9 and I love it. Wired so there's none of the crap that can go with wireless mice, easy to change DPI settings, comes with 2 outer covers so you can choose the one which fits your hand better, and you can add in extra weights if you like your mouse weightier (mine has the full amount in).

Can't recommend it highly enough, it's never let me down.

Personally I dislike Razer - this is quite a usual situation for someone who likes Logitech from what I've seen. I find Razer mice very clicky and I feel like I'm going to break them. At the end of the day though it's all about personal preference.

Hehe, yeah thanks frog! I actually did end up googling the model number before I read this thread again. It took a while, seeing as the Logitech site itself, and numerous other websites failed to list any technical specs other than "USB, no drivers necessary".

Anywho, it's a Logitech M115 (M-U0005), 800dpi, and works perfectly fine in any game or situation. It's quite capable of single-pixel movement on my 1920x1080 screen even on a rough surface.

:)

According to a DPI calculator you are fine with a 800dpi mouse if your 360° turning circle is approx 19cm
