I see you are a blogger and as an active blogger you need to be able to blog where ever you are! Are you in bed? BLOG! Are you in the shower? BLOG! Are you having unprotected sex with your girlfriend's best friend's pillow? That's just wrong... BLOG!
You need to buy a MacBook Air. Only the most expensive equipment should be used by bloggers. Now that you are at it, why not blog about your latest purchase? Have fun!

I use a samsung q330 when I am on business trips or when my other 3 machines are tied up doing things with lots of big numbers. Its pretty good and I was actually able to play LOTRO on it in dx10 so it can pack a punch if you need it to. Its got an i3 so its pretty zippy for doing almost anything on it. The only downside to it like most laptops is that they have put the touchpad in the middle so the edge of your right thumb constantly hits the touch pad sending the cursor somewhere on the screen you don't want it. You should be able to pick one up for under £450. Also don't buy a mac book they are poo, they are also noisy, they get hot (surprsing seeing as the case is made from metal hurpdee durpy durp), the battery doesn't actually last that long on them if you doing anything other than letting the dictionary screensaver run and finally if you buy one could you live knowing that you have made Steve Jobs live that little bit longer. Oh one last point the return key is too small.

Couldn't recommend you a specific model - mine are outdated by now - but I've never gone wrong with Samsung's netbooks. You can usually pick up a pretty feature packed one for £300. Just be ready to uninstall a fair few junk packaged programs.

Yeah uninstalling McAfee from the one I use caused it to Blue screen and go into recovery every time Had to reformat it as soon as I got it.
