So I'm going to be looking for a new Graphics card but since I'm partially new to PC building, I'd like to know whats the "best" or at least half decent to buy, I currently have the ATI Radeon HD 5450 but I'd like to invest in a newer model so if anyone can show me one that is because in all fairness it confuses me D: |

If you want to stick with ATI then spend around £100 on a HD 6850, or switch to Nvidia and get a GTX 460 for around the same price. For reference, http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/ and http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ |

Post your exact motherboard spec here and we (and you) will know. But AFAIK, there is not a newer bus then PCIE x16, so I guess you are fine. (Been using notebook in last 4 years so I am just slightly outdated. |

I think as long as you have a PCIx16 slot available (its a dual slot card) and enoygh power, then yeah, also a decent CPU so you don't bottle neck it. Post your specs. (Wait for others with more knowledge to comment) |

If you do go for something like that I'd check your power supply first. 750W is the usual requirement. If you have a 5450 it should already be using PCI-E x16 |
