My pc has melted.
Turned it on this morning and the screen wouldn't come on, nor the keyboard flash nor any sort of beep. Everything powers up (cpu, gpu, psu) but i get nothing!
I have reset the cmos via jumpers, and battery removal.
I am completely stumped, taking it down the repair shop soon hopefully. Here's hoping its nothing too serious.
If anyone has had anything like this before or any advice for me please let me know.

Re: My pc has melted.
Not old enough to be melting. The mobo is getting on a bit tbh but all the other components are less than 2/3 years old.

The last time this happened to me, it was down to the graphics card (8800GT) giving up. I had the same problem - I turned on my system and all the fans were running but I had no display or bios beep code to help me identify the issue.
I've had system failures before, but this was the first one where the bios stayed silent. I was thinking dead motherboard (so ordered a new one ) until I tried an old GPU and watched it come back to life.
