Post Dual Core support in TF2
Howdy,

Whilst browsing around I found this, which in a nutshell is instructions on a source engine script to improve performance on a Dual Core system.

Anyone used it?

I'll be trying it out shortly, I'll let you know how I get on.

Cheers, 3F.

I know Ipwn and maybe Spiderbloke + PilsY were using this, or something similar for Multi-cored performance.

Was thinking about digging up those posts as Im not running any scripts at all and they put some really good stuff up.

If I find the posts I'll link em :)

Nice one khola

Hmm I used all those commands at one point, and most of them are totally stable - except the infamous mat_queue_mode 2. It was implemented/left in for the consoles and is officially unsupported, most people that use it on dual core setups notice fairly significat FPS boosts at the cost if more frequent crashes :(

GL and I'll be interested to hear the outcome.

If I was it would be a waste of time, I only have the one core. :P
But then most of the stuff on this machine can only use one anyway.
