For some reason, my windows explorer makes a new window every time I go into a different folder instead of just redirecting inside the current window. Anyone know the cause of it? I have no idea what I did to make it do this.

Go to the start menu, search for 'folder options', click 'Open each folder in the same window', click OK.

Control Panel -> Folder Options -> General Tab
Select radio button - "Open each folder in the same window"
