I'm looking at a ram upgrade in the not too distant future now I'm running 64 bit windows and i can utilize it, but before i even consider that i need to tackle a pretty major issue.
Temperature. Simply put the airflow on my rig is not enough and it's too dangerous to ignore it (the GFX card will quiet happily reach 80 degree's on the really taxing games if I let it, which says it all really).
Can anyone recommend me a tower that has exceptional airflow, perhaps even some after market fans or some other ideas that may help (already cleaned it with compressed air). Water cooling ... I'm not knowledgeable enough at PC building to even try, it'd will be like trying to run when all you've ever done is crawl.
thanks for any help

Re: In need of a new Case.
The Arc series by Fractal Design focuses on good airflow. The Arc Midi R2 might be a candidate.

This is normal. Fan profiles are designed to be quiet and let the card run at high temperatures.
Any case with multiple 120mm fans on the intake and 1 or two exhausting should be good enough airflow. The rest is cosmetics and finish quality / easy of access / cable routing etc etc.
I use a SilverStone FT02 which has a 90° rotated motherboard mounting. This means that the connectors are at the top of the case. It then has 3 180mm fans at the bottom that push the air upwards through the entire system. It is an expensive case tho and large (but very quiet).
Thing is that car hits a constant 79 - 80 and with the fan speed manually configured with after burner. I'm more or less certain that if i left the card to it's own devices then the damn thing would hit 100+.
FT02 looks a little out of my prince range though it sounds ideal.
ARC Midi seems pretty reasonable for £70.
Right now I've got a coolermaster 330 with a stock fan and an addition aftermarket 120 fan for the HD bays (not much room for anything else but it's not enough and I don't dare adding more heat with additional ram) so anything will be an upgrade really. 2 really nice options though cheers guys.
If you are looking for after market fans I would suggest looking at either Cougar CF-V12H or Noctua NF-P12-1300. Both are 120mm fans with exceptional airflow and are quiet.
If you are looking for liquid cooling then I would suggest looking into closed liquid cooling solutions. Also if these are too big for the case you want, there are also 120mm radiators you can configure in a push-pull solution.
