I was going to choose an avatar for the site but when i come and click the choose avatar button it just doen't work. Any ideas?

Did you try submitting it after you chose an avatar. If you have, the pic many not be small enough. It's needs to be 150x150 pixels.

Are you talking about when you go on your user control panel and you try clicking on the 'edit avatar', that it's not doing anything. Or are you talking about clicking on the 'Browse' button?

The browse button does nothing. Am i missing something obvious here?

Well, if you've tried clicking Browse and there isn't a box popping up to search your computer for an image, I would suggest restarting your computer. It's how I normally work things out :3.

However, if you click browse and the box does pop up and you can find you pic and click submit and it appears to have done nothing, there will be a box somewhere near the top that says 'The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 500 KiB.'


But I suspect it isn't the latter.

Try it in a different browser.

edit - are you doing it from this page? ucp.php?i=profile&mode=avatar

Restarting doesn't work and i tried it on chrome firefox and ie and it still doesn't work.
