Won't be around much for a while, long story short my PC died a death so i'm on my ancient laptop which can just about handle opening the forums here. Might cobble together a make shift rig with the parts i got lying around but honestly I'll probably just wait and build a new one when i get the parts, how ever long that takes.

That's unlucky, must of overcooked it from to much use . Going to find out daytime tv is rubbish with all this spare tie on your hands.

Went and 'rebuilt' my pc and works like a dream, new MSI 770 graphics card, replacement ram, new Power supply and rejigged the cable management for better airflow and re-seated the heat sink and applied new thermal paste. Processor, HD's and motherboard all survived and work fine so i saved money there and stuck it in a slightly bigger case for now but im waiting on the stock before i get a full time case.

All in all runs like a dream, quieter and cooler than anything I've had in the past, idles at 30 degrees and goes to 60-75 when throttled. And of course the performance is greater too.

So I'm kinda fully back-ish now, only took near on a year
