Did anyone else have problems with steam !

I think it was maintenance not sure ....

You basically get knocked off but if you leave it, it eventually comes back on again.

Yes, But sometimes, steam can be a real pain, when it comes to maintenance.

I had the same problems, I only got on once to download a game.
