If you mainly use data rather than voice/text, I recommend the gigabags. Those are the only ones that allow tethering.

Just got myself a pay as you go mobile wifi devices from EE.
If you do go with Giffgaff, then I'll give you a run down how to get around certain limitations to their unlimited data. It's definitely unlimited, but, in brief, can't tether (you can if tethering android to android) and you can't have a data session that is longer than the length of a single full battery charge.
