Am I in the wrong
I was drunk the other night and I met this man at a party. He looked like the average sort of person, and he had the normal hair and the height and voice and facial expressions. I sensed something in this man! Or did I? He had a boring name like 'John' (no offence) it was actually something else like 'Craig' (no offence).
And then I said to him, Greg you take care of yourself. That doesn't sound very good does it? But it was something like that, except it seemed much much more helpful and profound. And then it hit me. Oh my god, I have changed this man's life. I might never see Rob again but I have changed his path and he's going to take this wisdom with for the rest of his life. And I said, even though I can't remember your name, I have made an important difference to you. Basically what I just said. He smiled at me in an ambiguous way and said goodbye and went back into the house. Then a woman came out from nowhere in a dressing gown and told me to pipe down.
My 'friend' says that I must have been hitting on him and that it was a really creepy thing to do. But I think that, no matter what I said, it felt really important and it was expressed in a really important way so surely he must have taken it for what it was and been grateful that I was able to help him.
I've taken time out of my busy schedule at Glastonbury to personally thank you, Sam. I know of a Craig and a Greg, I don't know a Rob, but 2 out of 3 means that it's almost certain that we are talking about the same person. Especially considering their average, normal face, which describes him to a tee. I'm well versed in dressing gowns too, so I know what I am talking about, even without the benefit of alcohol. I think that knowing Carol like I do, you couldn't have said it better or louder, and I'm pretty sure that you offered her some sage advice that will be regaled by the fireplace, at Christmas and Good Friday, for generations to come. Thanks for sharing the wisdom, your 'vino veritas', perhaps it could even be adapted into the @H|H regs code. Well done, again. Don't ever worry about being wrong, again.

Have any of you thought about how I have changed all of your lives irreversibly with this thread??

There never has been a better person, to teach us a new, and better life code than you Sam, from your hardships, and understandings of the inner world. One should perhaps enlighten us more in the future Sam, and maybe, just maybe, the world will be a better and brighter place for all to learn, and live in.
