I rather enjoy paintballing but its always the cost of it that puts me off. Even with my own gear its still just too much. I recommend trying it out if you can afford it tho, try and get into a round with rookies tho. Experienced players who know the sites maps tend to ruin your fun if you dont really know what to do.

Re: Paintfest 2014
I've only ever played once. These are the things I discovered...
1. Paint balls ping off foreheads when it's really cold.
2. Never outfit yourself with the floppy jungle hat (I had twig issues).
3. Never outfit yourself with the summer camouflage when playing in the winter.
4. Guys with the automatic loading firearms - you want those on your team.
5. Guys who panic and drop their balls when reloading - you do not want those on your team (sry Nubbs) .
5. Avoid the breakfast menu.
6. AVOID THE BREAKFAST MENU.
7. Never play with police officers.
It was one of the most terrifying Sundays that I had ever encountered. Luckily I found a disused shed and hid behind the knackered Flymos for most of the rounds. It also helped me 'recover' from the breakfast menu.
