I know a friend starting a printing business if you can get enough support together.

might look nice 'faded' (maybe a little distressed/sepia/kinda/bzzz) a little and 'cut out'* against white with colors played with and edges highlighted in places (purely for the print- not in relation to your design ;) )...

*like er no background.... im er.... tired :mrgreen:
